Sam has been a director in animation for over the past ten years, winning an Emmy in 2006 for Warner Brothers Animation's, The Batman animated tv series. He has worked in the animation, videogame, and comicbook industries as a penciler, concept artist, director, storyboard artist, and character designer. His list of clients include Warner Bros. Animation, Marvel/Lionsgate Productions, Sony Animation, Sony Computer Entertainment of America, Sony Online Entertainment, 989 Studios, Disney Interactive, Marvel Comics, Image Comics, Darkhorse Comics, Playstation Magazine, and White Wolf Publications.

Most recently, Sam has completed directing three direct to video features for Marvel/Lionsgate Productions. He directed the Hulk vs Thor story in the Hulk Vs. dvd, which is in stores now.

Sam is currently directing two direct to video dvds for Warner Bros. Animation. Superman/Batman: Public Enemies is scheduled to be released on September 29th, 2009.
